We have an immediate opening for a Lead Oracle Applications DBA. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our growing team in Austin, providing mentoring to junior and intermediate DBAs as we build the team in Austin, while consulting for several clients across the country and providing technical sales support. QUALIFICATIONS You should have current Oracle 11i Applications DBA skills for complex 24x7 environments. You should have hands-on architecture, installation, upgrade and load balanced applications skills. Adherence to processes and understanding the importance of documentation is required. Deploying Oracle Applications in the DMZ, RAC and parallel concurrent processing are definite pluses. You should also have great oral and written communication skills due to a high level of interaction with customers. You must also be able to work effectively with internal sales, management and delivery organizations. A minimum of 50% travel is required for this position.
