Oracle Projects Functional Consultant   R0-00417        Austin, Texas   Back to List SmartDog Services is growing and we are currently hiring for a full time, permanent Oracle Projects consultant. This is a high profile position and that will challenge you at every step. This Senior Consultant position will play an active role in our Supply Chain solution group and will work closely with Senior Management. Key responsibilities will include: Requirements definition Oracle Projects module configuration Integrating the projects module integrates with the Financial Suite configuration Training users and defining Oracle Project module reporting This position will involve travel. As a functional Oracle consultant, you will work with our clients to set up Oracle where the Projects suite is needed. Ideally, we are seeking individuals with following skills: A minimum of three years of Oracle OM expertise A minimum of 5-7 years of Oracle Application configuration Oracle Application Configuration for the project module - both costing and billing Oracle Applications 11i, Oracle Projects and Project Manufacturing, full life cycle implementation Experience with transportation module is helpful Oracle AIM method deliverables, including the BR100 Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written) Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, and supply chain assessment / strategy Project management: lead small teams of 1 – 3 resources (both consulting and client employees) Industry expertise: Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Consumer Goods preferred Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project and Visio Ability to travel up to 80% Primary Responsibilities: Process Definition 20% Application Configuration 40% Project Team Knowledge Transfer 20% Testing 20% SmartDog Services, LLC is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
