Functional OM/MFG Consultant   R0-00437        05/08/08    Dallas, Texas   Back to List Oracle OM/Discrete Mfg Consultant We are considering Full Time or Contract applicants We have an open position for a Functional OM/Manufacturing Consultant. This position will initially be focused on supporting our client in the Dallas area with Purchasing, Order Management, and Manufacturing training for users at new plants rolling onto Oracle. Training materials will cover Purchasing, Order Management/Shipping, WIP/Inventory Transactions, as well as basic navigation, so experience with the transactions outside of the resource's basic strong-suit is necessary. Travel is usually around 7-10 days in the middle of the month, usually consuming one weekend. This person will closely engage with key client personnel and participate in all areas of the implementation life-cycle. The initial phase will last approximately 6 months. Contract applicants can expect a possible extension. Full time applicants will be transitioned to other projects. We are seeking individuals with following skills: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of Oracle Order Management, Purchasing and Mfg expertise 5-7 years of Oracle Application configuration Prefer experience in multi-org and internal environments Oracle AIM method deliverables, including the BR100 Communication skills: strong presentation/communication/facilitation skills (oral and written) Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign and implementation Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change mangement, support General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, and supply chain assessment/strategy Ability to travel up to 50% Technical Skills needed: Oracle Applications configuration Oracle 11i Order Management, Purchasing, MRP, Shipping, WIP and Inventory Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project and Visio SmartDog Services, LLC is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
