ERP Manager R0-00453        06/23/08      New Orleans, LA   Back to List SmartDog Services, a leading Oracle consulting firm with offices in New Orleans and Austin, has an immediate opening for an ERP Manager with a local client. This is a full-time, permanent position in which the person will have the responsiiblity of managing various aspects of the IT Department for a worldwide, multi-divisional company. This position will be primarily charged with management of the corporate ERP system (Oracle Financials 11i) including contract progarmmers and analysts. Position Requirements: BS in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience) is required Five years in an IT supervisory role is preferred Strong skills in project management, ERP systems (primarily Oracle Financials) Experience in full lifecycle development Experience in establishing and enforcing adherence to best practices for system development and documentation Clear verbal and written communications skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects Roles and Responsibilities: Manage multiple server platforms, evaluate user's needs and system functionality, mentor and training support staff Establish technical priorities, standards, and procedures Insure sufficient capacity for organizational needs including reviewing departmental requests and making recommendations based on system options Prepare progress reports on current and future IT projects Arrange and administer security meaures to restrict unauthorized use of systems and databases Coordinate any security investigation and execute preventative measures Manage crisis situations (disaster recovery) which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems Organize offsite storage necessity for recovery processes and oversee development of recovery procedures SmartDog Services, LLC is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
