SmartDog is proud to receive the 2008 Oracle Partner Titan Award in the category of Services Industry Solution. Consumer financial instruments are exploding and the customer for this solution is a primary provider of the plastic cards that transfer buying power to people without bank accounts. This customer needed an automated system to track distribution of its cards to replace the manual, labor-intensive process it was using. The solution found a way to treat distributors as internal sales people, implement a single new system with an interface that looked just like the old, all using Oracle Financials and Incentive Compensation. Commission payments are more accurate, cost savings come from automated systems, commissions are paid quicker, and the system is scalable for future growth.  Read Oracle press release.

SmartDog Services received attention on the cover of The Austin Business Journal because despite the devastation after the New Orleans flood, SmartDog Services profits continued to grow over 3x since 2005.  Because of our remote capabilities, SmartDog was able to survive.   Eventually, we moved our headquarters from New Orleans to Austin.    Read the cover story.

The Oracle Excellence Awards, presented to 30 companies in the fall of 2007 at Oracle OpenWorld conference in San Francisco, gave Oracle Applications customers a chance to hear firsthand how their peers have tapped the power of Oracle Fusion Middleware and service-oriented architecture (SOA) to reach new heights with their existing applications while also setting themselves up to take advantage of newer technologies. After calling for nominations, Oracle saw many customers step forward, eventually choosing the 30 best examples of Oracle Fusion Middleware within the enterprise.  SmartDog (formerly DCC Services) received this award for their work with Temple Inland.   Read the article starting on page 44.
